Binghamton in the City helps students build careers

Students in Metro New York made the most of winter recess by participating in career development events Jan. 7-11. Binghamton in the City is a week of programming exposing students to accomplished alumni across a variety of career fields. Through visits to employers and a large-scale career networking night, students explore options, learn about companies and industries, and meet alumni willing to give advice in the future.

Through a collaboration between the Office of Alumni Engagement and Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development, students had their choice of 40 employer visits during the week. Metro Connections Night brought about 115 alumni together with 350 students.
