Office of Student Conduct, Summer 2019

The Office of Student Conduct annual review process kicked off in October 2018, and concluded in April 2019. The process entailed hosting focus groups to engage various constituents, a cover-to-cover review of the Code of Student Conduct and making recommendations for change and updates to leadership with the goal of producing a final product that increases transparency of the student conduct process, including the rights and expectations of students in the process. The review and recommendations also aligned terms and definitions provided by local, state and federal mandates. With a final vote of approval of the recommendations by the Binghamton University Council, the Office of Student Conduct implemented the changes and is ready to embark on a new academic year.
