Men’s tennis receives prestigious awards
Graduated men’s tennis captain Ludovico Cestarollo has received yet another honor following the conclusion of his decorated collegiate career. Cestarollo was the selected as the ITA Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award winner from the Northeast Region.
The regional honor - one of just 12 awarded across the country by the ITA - now puts Cestarollo into consideration for the ITA/Rafael Osuna National Award for sportsmanship, leadership and accomplishment on the court.
The Northeast region is the largest in the country with 35 teams, meaning Cestarollo was selected from a group of piers exceeding 350.
In addition, the entire Binghamton team, led by fifth-year head coach Nick Zieziula, was recognized as the region’s lone choice for an ITA Community Service Award.
