Student Association and Graduate Student Organization Transition Receptions

This year, the Dean of Students (DOS) Office, under the auspices of the University Union, held two receptions in the spring semester for the Graduate Student Organization (GSO) and the Student Association (SA) in-coming and out-going executive boards. The intent of both of these meetings was to reflect on the year and get to know the key players from the DOS area and the student leadership teams. The hope was to acclimate one another about what roles everyone plays on all of the teams involved. In the spirit of collaboration and to set the tone for the year to come, we also chatted informally about what we’re looking forward to in the fall. Attendance was excellent for both gatherings, and everyone was appreciative of the opportunity to get to know one another.
