New awards program honors young alumni

The Alumni Association and Bearcats of the Last Decade (BOLD) Leadership Council created a new set of awards to honor outstanding recent graduates of Binghamton University.

Each year, the BOLD 10 Under 10 Awards will recognize 10 accomplished people who received their Binghamton degrees within the past 10 years. The Alumni Association presented the inaugural set of BOLD 10 Under 10 Awards in a virtual ceremony held during Homecoming in October.

The honorees were:

  • Caroline Brickley ’18 and Katherine Brickley ’19, founders, Blossom
  • Nicholas Dadario ’20, student, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
  • Max Guttman ’08, MSW ’12, owner, Recovery Now
  • Eun Suk Hong ’15, advocate for DREAMers and fellow DACA recipients
  • Mitchell LaRosa ’16, program director, Shared Mobility
  • Mark Pallay ’14, MS ’16, PhD ’20, design engineer, Seagate Technology
  • Jay Samant, MSEd ’11, founding vice principal of instruction, STRIVE Prep-RISE High School
  • Conrad Taylor ’17, deputy executive director, Humanity Forward
  • Stephanie Fox Tunis ’12, educational administrator
