Regional networking mixers go virtual

The Alumni Association leveraged the power of technology to provide opportunities for Binghamton graduates to meet with peers living in their region.

In February, the association offered Bearcat Breakouts events in Metro New York, Binghamton, Washington, Boston, Florida and California. The mixers were held on Zoom where alumni interacted in small group chat rooms to which they were randomly assigned.

Staff from the Office of Alumni Engagement shared information with the attendees on volunteer opportunities, lifelong learning programs and other ways they can engage more closely with the University.
