Connecting with alumni through virtual events

Through the Binghamton Learning Network webinar series, the Alumni Association provides insights on current topics from alumni experts who are dynamic speakers.

Featured presenters from January through March were: Jill Silverman ’97 on intuitive eating; Justin Garcia ’07, MS ’09, PhD ’12, on love and dating during COVID-19; Bruce Freeman ’73 on the importance of having a nimble career plan; and Jim Rollo ’84 on preparing financially for life-changing events. On March 25, about 100 alumni participated in a virtual group bike ride. Using stationary bikes and the Peloton app, participants tested themselves on how many times in about one hour they could complete a virtual course starting and finishing on the Binghamton University campus.
