Campus COVID Response Team (CCRT)

For the spring 2021 semester, the CCRT staff consisted of 15 graduate students, including nine returning staff members and six new staff members. The staff began their semester with supporting Residential Life during move-in in the University Union Tillman Lobby from Friday, Feb. 5 through Wednesday Feb. 10. For this semester, staff continued to support social distancing on campus, mask wearing, density control and educational response to COVID concerns. CCRTs also continued to support the MaskUpBing effort that awarded students with a chance to win prizes through mask-wearing compliance.

In addition to these efforts, the CCRT staff continued to conduct occupancy checks starting March 1 in various locations on campus including the Fine Arts Building, Classroom Wing, Lecture Hall and basketball courts. Staff continue to run three major routes including through the University Union, inner loop (which consists of the Bartle Library, Science Library, Fine Arts, Lecture Hall, Classroom Wing and the Spine). In addition, the staff monitors the dining centers, residential communities and co-rec fields.
