Top 20 for career placement

The Division of Student Affairs is thrilled with the recent increase in rankings for Binghamton University. A specific area of note related to both a divisional and University focus was being ranked in the Top 20 Best Career Placement (#19, Public Schools) list by the Princeton Review. The ranking reflects not only the work of the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development, but the campus-wide, collaborative effort of many to ensure our students are positioned well to succeed with both their first job and graduate school goals once they graduate. Our students’ placement was intentionally set as a metric for Binghamton University’s Road Map strategic plan since the beginning, and we exceeded our metric goal of a 75% placement rate three years early in 2017. The metric was recently increased to a 90% placement rate this year as part of the Road Map Re-aiming process.
