Fall greetings from the faculty and staff of the Office of Experiential Education! I have been serving in the role of the interim director since the beginning of August and am enjoying my interactions with the students from a different perspective — learning more about their professional goals and how we can tailor experiential learning rotations to ensure their success. I’ve been getting to know many of you as well — our competent and dedicated preceptors who teach and mentor our students in real-life settings. We are starting to move beyond the challenges the COVID pandemic brought in terms of reduced ability for pharmacies, especially in the institutional setting, to accept our students for rotations. A huge thank you to all of our preceptors!
