Stress-free Bing officially launched Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, and ran through the last day of finals, Friday Dec. 17. Over this 19-day period, a series of stress-reducing activities, events and programs were set up for students as they prepared for finals. This year, Stress-free Bing events were geared toward opportunities for students to make connections with others and support their overall well-being,
Events included:
- hot chocolate trivia night in CIW
- Dean’s Team ornament decorating
- healthier sleep with CARE Connections and REACH Peers
- Pet-A-Pooch!
- culinary connections at Mountainview
- Late Nite Destress Fest and movie screenings
- coffee fuel up
- study break spin with Campus Rec
- meditation and yoga classes with Campus Rec
- de-stress with The Q Center
- therapy dogs at the library
- de-stress with s’mores
- chair massages
- a variety of food sponsored events in the MarketPlace and Residential Dining Halls
- and so much more!
This year, the marketing efforts of the Stress-free Bing initiative were supported by posters in The Union, advertisements on digital marketing screens, announcements in Dateline and B-Line, and through the Stress-free Bing website, which highlights a calendar of events for each day.
