P4 students Tony Feng and Anthony Hopkins took first place in the 2021 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Local Clinical Skills Competition.

P4 students Julia Napoli and Jumana Khatib have both accepted postdoctoral fellowships. Napoli accepted a Global Medical Information Post-Doctoral Fellowship in affiliation with the Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Program, and Khatib accepted a Multidisciplinary Post-Doctoral Fellowship with Genmab that will focus on global medical affairs, global regulatory affairs and clinical development.

P3 student Joseph D’Antonio won the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists (NYSCHP) Corporate Scholarship Essay Award. He wrote his essay on the top of “What strategies should be employed in organizations or departments to drive workplace well-being and mitigate the risk of burnout?” He will receive his award at the NYSCHOP Annual Assembly installation banquet on April 9, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

William Eggleston, assistant professor of pharmacy practice, has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology.
