The Alumni Association partnered with the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development on CONNECT week, Jan. 11-15, in Metro New York.

Binghamton alumni hosted students at 20 Employer Treks. With a number of businesses still at reduced capacity, the workplace visits were virtual as they were in 2021. Career fields ranged from retail to technology to finance, and the treks were open to all students. Alumni hosts gave brief talks about their career paths and current employers, then took questions from students looking for insights on corporate culture.

The largest event of CONNECT week is Networking Night, typically held in person but offered online again this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. On Jan. 11, nearly 90 alumni met with about 220 students to provide career advice through individual conversations.
