Alumni webinars share career advice

On Feb. 2, the Alumni Association offered the webinar “Improving Employee Engagement and Morale” with Renée Schmidt Gad ’97 as presenter.

She is a director of operations with the MetLife companies and has nearly 25 years of experience navigating complex global organizations and fostering high-performance teams through belonging, accessible communications and empowerment. Gad discussed cultural shifts in the workplace that accelerated because of COVID-19.

On Feb. 9, the webinar “Interview Etiquette” featured staff from the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development. They provided recent alumni with advice on forming answers to commonly asked questions, researching employers and managing virtual interviews.
