A lot has been happening at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences this semester, including appointing a new dean and hiring me as assistant dean for experiential education and clinical associate professor. I started my new role April 25, and am thrilled to be here.

I’m looking forward to connecting with as many of you, our preceptors, as possible. It is you who provide the foundation we rely on to prepare our students to be practice ready and for careers as pharmacists.

Working together, we can ensure that our graduates have the knowledge and skills they need to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. We also thank you for your role inin mentoring and professionally developing our students toward improving the level of care locally, nationally and globally.

Thank you for helping us to develop the outstanding pharmacists of the future and advancing our profession

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Nicholas Schwier
Assistant Dean for Experiential Education
Clinical Associate Professor
