Binghamton University’s Division of Speech and Language Pathology is offering a group stuttering therapy program during the fall 2022 semester for individuals 12 and older. This program provides education, support and group stuttering therapy. Participants will also benefit from support from other members experiencing similar struggles.

Groups will meet once a week for 90 minutes. Sessions will be held in the University’s Health Sciences Building in Johnson City; virtual sessions will also be offered. Sessions are available Monday through Thursday during the morning and afternoon (registrants will indicate their availability on the referral/registration form below).

This program is being offered as a part of the newly established Binghamton University Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, and will be administered by two licensed speech and language pathologists, both of whom have experience helping people who stutter. Individual therapy sessions will be available by request, but may not be considered until later in the semester. Cost is $10 per group therapy session; individual therapy costs $25 per session.

Contact Cody Dew (cdew1@binghamton.edu) or Rodney Gabel (rgabel@binghamton.edu) with questions about the program or if you’re interested in stuttering therapy for individuals younger than 12.

Complete the Stuttering Therapy Program registration form to sign up for the program or to make a referral to the program.
