Division of Student Affairs director updates

Amy Zieziula was appointed director of student conduct in July 2022. Since January 2021, she has served as Binghamton’s deputy Title IX coordinator, where she worked closely with the Office of Student Conduct. Zieziula has extensive professional experience within the field of student conduct in New York state and Georgia.

Alison Handy Twang was appointed acting director of the Center for Civic Engagement in August 2022. Twang, who received bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees at Binghamton University, has spent over seven years in the Center for Civic Engagement, most recently as associate director. A national search for a new director is forthcoming.

Assistant Vice President for Student Success Kelli Smith will serve as acting director of the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development as the division undergoes a national search for a new executive director.
