The Office of Alumni Engagement and many campus partners organized Homecoming 2022, held at Binghamton University Oct. 7-9. Nearly 1,100 guests ― including 640 alumni ― attended the weekend’s events.

Homecoming is the largest on-campus alumni event and is open to all Binghamton University graduates regardless of when they graduated.

Signature events included:

  • a Saturday afternoon tailgate party outside the Events Center followed by the men’s soccer game against the University at Albany
  • a Friday evening block party in downtown Binghamton
  • luncheons for legacy families, members of the classes of 1949-72, alumni of the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science, and for the presentation of the Alumni Association’s Medals of Distinguished Service (recognizing alumni volunteers)
  • a master class and performance by renowned jazz saxophonist Camille Thurman ’09

To engage alumni from anywhere in the world, Homecoming included a live webcast featuring interviews with notable alumni and University staff. The full video can be seen on the Alumni Association’s YouTube channel.
