Employee Assistance Program hosts annual ice cream social
Employee Assistance Program supports and enhances the total well-being of faculty and staff
The Binghamton University Employee Assistance Program (EAP) held its annual ice cream social on June 21, fostering camaraderie, promoting employee well-being and celebrating the success of the EAP.
Campus staff and faculty took advantage of the warm weather to enjoy a cold treat outside The Union. EAP partnered with the Professional Staff Senate, Civil Service Employees Association, United University Professions, the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Sodexo to make the fun-filled event happen.
The event highlighted Binghamton’s dedication to its employees’ well-being while allowing staff and faculty the chance to network across departments, relax and enjoy a delicious frozen treat. Attendees were also able to meet the EAP committee and staff members and learn more about the program.
The Binghamton EAP is a valuable benefit dedicated to supporting and enhancing the total well-being of faculty and staff in an effort to create a healthier workforce, resulting in resilient communities both on and off campus. The office is committed to offering diverse and inclusive services and programs that attract and serve all employees across race, gender, age, religion, identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, nationality, ability and experience. The EAP supports the entire Binghamton University community in its efforts to build a culture that encourages, supports and cares about the diverse voices of its faculty and staff.
