Common Read Experience provides students the opportunity to grow through civil dialogue
Encourage your student to dive into their Binghamton University career by taking part in the Common Read Experience! All incoming new students will receive a copy of this year’s book, I Never Thought of It That Way by Monica Guzman, a customized drawstring tote bag and a bookmark listing great campus resources when they arrive at Orientation. Reading, growing and engaging in civil dialogue to bridge our differences are all integral to the University experience.
Community Lunch and Learn! Expand your thinking this year. Aug. 18-19
Encourage your student to connect with peers and enjoy a FREE meal on us! They can grab a meal and network with other new students in their community. Students will meet their collegiate professor and learn about this year’s Common Read Experience book. Participants will unpack the book’s themes, discuss the impact of civil dialogue and much more!
