Healthcare Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training offered
Watson School offering training via distance learning, Jan. 29-April 1
Binghamton University’s Watson School of Engineering will offer a healthcare-based Lean Six Sigma training course at the Green Belt level via distance learning from Jan. 29 through April 1. The course is open to Binghamton faculty, staff, students and alumni, as well as members of industry and nonprofit and governmental agencies.
Lean Six Sigma is a process-improvement methodology that accelerates processes, increases efficiency and reduces or eliminates variation. The healthcare-based training program at the Green Belt level is designed for anyone interested in understanding and applying Lean Six Sigma concepts to healthcare systems.
The training will be offered via distance learning from Jan. 29 through April 1 by the Systems Science and Industrial Engineering Department at Binghamton University.
