Gray skies, a high of 27 degrees and the stress of finals week could have resulted in gloomy spirits on Monday, Dec. 11, at Binghamton University. Instead, the sounds of laughter, friendship and good cheer bounced around the first floor lobby of Academic Building B throughout the day, as nursing students, faculty and staff joined together to enjoy cocoa and coffee courtesy of the Decker School of Nursing.

Decker’s Student Services Office hosted a beverage bar to help students and staff enjoy and unwind during this busy and sometimes stressful time of year. The bar featured a variety of hot chocolates and coffees; sugar-topped holiday cookies; seasonal favorites such as mini marshmallows, candy canes and chocolate chips; and toppings including whipped cream, hot fudge and caramel sauce.

The bar was open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
