Spring 18: Volunteer for Commencement

The Commencement Office invites all students to support the spring 2018 graduates by volunteering for Commencement, May 18, 19, and 20! Your participation will ensure an enjoyable atmosphere for our graduates and their guests and help the ceremonies run smoothly.

Register online by Friday, May 4. Food will be provided throughout the weekend, and all volunteers will receive a thank you gift. Sign up for the commencement volunteer opportunity.

Fall 18: Undergraduate internships 

Binghamton University Health Promotion and Prevention Services is recruiting undergraduate students for internships for the 2018-2019 academic school year.

MHOPE interns are mental health outreach peer educators. Please view the flyer for additional information. If you are interested in this internship, please send your resume and cover letter to outreach@binghamton.edu by March 23.

20:1 Prevention Programs has two internships. One focuses on sexual assault prevention and the other focuses on bystander intervention. Please view the flyer for additional information. 2. Kaschak Summer Research Grant

Application Deadline: March 23

Dr. Kaschak, an internationally acclaimed and award-winning psychologist, author and teacher, is currently offering Harpur college undergraduate students a grant of $1,500 to conduct a research study in the field of social justice for women and girls.

Criteria:

  • Must be Harpur College undergraduate student in good academic standing
  • GPA must be at least 3.0
  • Cannot already be funded for summer research
  • Cannot receive Kaschak grant more than twice
  • Research must be in the field of social justice for women and/or girls
