John Fiacco is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy and is a pharmacist currently registered in the state of New York. He was employed by Cardinal Health as the vice president of Pharmacy Transition Services before retiring in September 2018. While at Cardinal Health, Fiacco held various positions including general manager of Renlar Systems and director of Health Systems Marketing. His projects included Central Fill Pharmacy and 340B.

Most recently, Fiacco assumed responsibility for Cardinal Health’s Pharmacy Transition Services. In 2005, Fiacco had transferred to Medicine Shoppe International and rose to the position of vice president of Medicine Shoppe. He was responsible for all aspects of Medicine Shoppe International including operations, sales and international. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Fiacco was the director of sales at Innovation Associates, a pharmacy automation company. He also spent 26 years with CVS, and held several positions including staff pharmacist, pharmacy manager, pharmacy supervisor and district manager.

Fiacco is a past member of the New York State Board of Pharmacy where he held positions as chairman and vice chair of the board. During his tenure with the New York Board of Pharmacy, he was elected to the Executive Committee of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). He was elected to the positions of treasurer and president-elect and also held the positions of president and chairman of NABP.
