While recognizing that the existing space review process works well, to expand input and shorten the review process a Space Management Advisory Group composed of members from each division is being formed to assist the Space Management Council. This will allow the council to focus on larger issues, make better-informed decisions, continually improve the accuracy of the space inventory system to gain better measurements about how well space is performing and adjust space allocations as necessary. This information will also be used to make continual updates to the University’s construction and facilities master plans.
