Binghamton University’s School of Pharmacy achieves Candidate status

Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences’ Doctor of Pharmacy program has been granted Candidate status by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, 190 South LaSalle Street, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL 60603, 312/644-3575; FAX 866/228-2631, website www.acpeaccredit.org.

Achieving Candidate status from ACPE grants SOPPS graduates the same rights and privileges as graduates from a fully accredited program.

“We’re thrilled with this news,” said Founding Dean Gloria Meredith. “Our students can now complete their education confident that they will be competitive in their careers as we continue to provide them with a program that includes top-quality clinical and research experiences, advanced instrumentation skills and an interprofessional perspective necessary for today’s healthcare environment.”
