Ada A Robinson-Perez


Ada Robinson-Perez has been the associate director of the Binghamton University Employee Assistance Program since 2015. She has an extensive work history in community mental health with children and families under New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH). In addition, her experience extends to mental health disaster relief, crisis intervention, community mental health safety training, union leadership and cultural competence/diversity committee leadership. As an employee assistance professional, Ada specializes in supervisory consultations in areas of mental health, bereavement, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and interpersonal dynamics in the workplace.Ada earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Marist College in 1997, her master’s degree in Social Work from Syracuse University in 2001, and is a New York Licensed Master Social Worker. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate with Binghamton University’s Community Research and Action program.
