EOP Orientation Info

In order to attend Binghamton University in the fall, students must attend one FREE orientation specifically for new EOP freshmen.

Students will need to select a time and location that they plan to attend. Transportation to the EOP Orientation in NYC is at your own cost., there is no charge to register for the EOP Orientation and Parent/Guardian Meeting. Students must be present for the entire event.

(Tentative dates are provided below to allow for students to plan accordingly and can be prepared to attend the 4 week EOP Binghamton Enrichment Summer Program from July 5th to August 6th, 2020.)

Details for Orientation and Parent/Guardian Meeting:
EOP students and parent/guardians will learn the details about:

  • the mandatory summer program (BEP 2020, July 5th - August 6th, tentative dates)
  • Every EOP student will take (1) Diagnostic Math test. There are no calculators allowed for this exam.
  • Parents will spend some time with the EOP Director and Counselors to address parental questions or concerns.
  • Students will turn in all completed forms for the EOP summer program/BEP, and any other Binghamton forms to allow them to be registered for courses.

Students need to bring the following COMPLETED documents/items.

  1. Insurance Card - insurance company name, policy number and policy holder's name
  2. COMPLETED EOP Summer Forms
  3. COMPLETED EOP Summer Meal Forms

We will need to collect these forms at the EOP Orientation so that you can be registered for your 2020  EOP Summer Program courses.

Participation in the EOP orientation is a prerequisite to attend the EOP BEP summer program. Fall admission to Binghamton University is contingent upon attending both the orientation and the entire BEP summer program.
