We are seeking to recruit a new PhD student for the Fall 2016 semester. The application deadline is December 31, 2015 for entry into the Cognitive and Brain Sciences PhD program.
Applicants who have demonstrated experience in collecting EEG/ERP and/or other psychophysiological measures will receive priority. Additionally, experience with computer programming (Matlab, R, Python etc.) is strongly favored, although not necessarily a pre-requisite.
In addition to the criteria outlined above, admission to the graduate program is based on:
- academic performance as an undergraduate
- verbal, quantitative and writing GRE scores
- letters of recommendation
Qualified applicants will be invited to Binghamton, New York for an in-person interview with Dr. Miskovic and other faculty in the Cognitive program. If you have additional questions about joining the lab please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Miskovic via email.
We are always accepting motivated and talented research assistants. The minimum commitment required for joining the lab is 6 hours per week, for at least 2 semesters. Students will receive training in conducting human electrophysiological research, entering and reducing data, and will be expected to take part in regular lab meetings. To apply to work in the lab please follow the instructions on completing and submitting the RA Application Form below.
NOTE: We are always interested in recruiting students who enjoy computer programming. Students with a background in computer science, signal processing, statistics or engineering who wish to gain experimental experience in human neuroscience are strongly encouraged to apply!
