CDCI 200 - Transfer Year Experience

Transfer Year Experience is a two-credit seminar course for first semester transfer
students. CDCI TYE offers an eight-week (1/2 semester) course format, team-taught in the
Hillside Commons by Residential Life staff and a Fleishman Career Consultant in
Residence. This course focuses on finding a sense of belonging and learning how to
navigate the academic and cultural transition from previous college experiences through
campus resources, presentations, scholarly readings, journaling, networking and peer
engagement. Students will develop critical thinking, writing and time management skills
by creating, collaborating and executing a capstone transfer event.

You can sign up for this course when you register for classes at orientation.
