Octavio Borges-Delgado earned his PhD in Hispanic Cultural Studies from Michigan State University. He is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Romance Languages and Literatures Department.
specializes in Latin American, Hispanic Caribbean, and US-Latinx literature and
culture. His research focuses on contemporary narratives of race, ethnicity,
and women and gender representations in culture, media, and popular
(sub)cultures.He is an affiliated faculty with the Latin American and
the Caribbean Area Studies Program (LACAS).
