SMART Scholarship

The Department of Defense SMART Scholarships support undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines. The program aims to increase the number of civilian scientists and engineers working at DoD labs. Full tuition and fees, a stipend, paid summer internships, health insurance, and mentoring are provided. Recipients agree to work for the DoD after graduation one year for each academic year of support received.

Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA at the time of award.
