Barakat Trust Grants for Study of Islamic Art, Architecture, and Archaeology

The Barakat Trust is a UK registered charity which provides financial support for the study and research of the material and visual cultures of Islamic societies. Established in 1987, The Barakat Trust operates exclusively for educational purposes, providing scholarships and grants in Islamic Art History, Architecture, and Archaeology at the world's most respected academic and cultural institutions at the post-graduate and post-doctoral level. Exhibitions, lectures, conferences, archaeological excavations, conservation projects, surveys and documentation, travel grants and scholarly publications are also supported. This assistance is granted to enable scholars to continue to add to the body of Islamic scholarship while enhancing the possibilities of cross-cultural understanding and tolerance.
