National Institutes of Health Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program

PREP Programs offer a one-to- two-year research experience for students who have completed college and are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in the biomedical sciences. The program provides a significant research experience and preparation for applying to and succeeding in graduate school. Program is for recent baccalaureate science graduates from diverse backgrounds underrepresented in biomedical and behavioral sciences so that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue PhD or MD-PhD degrees in these fields.
