American Red Cross: Leaders Save Lives Scholarship Program

The American Red Cross is giving away scholarships!

Host a blood drive while school is out of session and you could win a scholarship! The Leaders Save Lives program is an opportunity for you to develop and demonstrate your leadership skills and help save lives with the Red Cross. By hosting a blood drive, you will also have the opportunity to win a college scholarship.

How do I sign up?

Sign up to host a blood drive at http://www.redcrossblood.org/forms/leaders-save-lives-registration-form. You will be contacted by an American Red Cross account manager.

What do students have to do?

You will help save lives by recruiting your friends and family to schedule appointments to give blood at your blood drive. Your blood drive must be scheduled during the summer or winter while school is out of session during the program time frame:

Summer program: June 1 - Aug. 31, 2017
Winter program: Dec. 15, 2017 - Jan. 15, 2018


Who is eligible to participate?

All high school and college students are eligible.

How can I win a scholarship?

If your blood drive collects a minimum of 25 pints, then you will be entered to win a scholarship! The scholarship drawings are based on a tier level.

Number of pints collected at blood drive determines scholarship drawing amount up to $2,500.

Open to all fields.
