Carter Center Summer Graduate Assistantships

The Carter Center is committed to waging peace, building hope, and fighting disease. Prospective interns have demonstrated superior academic ability and have coursework, professional or personal experience, and career interests related to Carter Center programs. Programs are divided into three main areas: peace, health, and operations. Graduate assistants must make a 9-12 month, 20-hours-per-week commitment and will receive compensation of $14/hour.

In order to be eligible for an assistantship, applicants must be enrolled in a graduate or doctoral program throughout the duration of the assistantship. Candidates who will graduate from their masters, post-masters, or doctoral-level program before the program ends are not eligible. There are no citizenship requirements.
