Courses and curriculum

Full-time MSW Curriculum

Full-time students complete the MSW program in two years, taking 16 credits each semester for four semesters. The University Bulletin in effect when you enter the Social Work (MSW) Graduate describes the processes and requirements that affect your progression to degree completion.

Part-time MSW Curriculum

Part-time students complete the MSW program in three-and-a-half years, taking six or seven credits each semester, including summer sessions. Part-time students can fulfill about half of the program through online courses. The program offers one online course per semester in which students complete their discussions, lectures, presentations and group work virtually. The University Bulletin in effect when you enter the Social Work (MSW) Graduate describes the processes and requirements that affect your progression to degree completion.
