Isaac Vaghefi

Background

Isaac Vaghefi (EYE-zuhk VUH-GE-fee) is an assistant professor of Information Systems (IS) at the State University of New York at Binghamton's School of Management. His research interests pertain to the dark side of technology use, healthcare IT and knowledge management. In particular, he has done studies on the addictive use of information technology, and the use of electronic systems in healthcare organizations. His work has been published in the Information Systems Journal, Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association, Journal of Medical Internet Research and proceedings of major IS and Management conferences including Academy of Management, International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS).

He holds a PhD in Information Systems from McGill University. Prior to that, he received a master’s degree in Information Technology Management from University of Tehran.
