Students who require assistive technology (JAWS, Kurzweil, Braille) to access their reading material are eligible for books in accessible formats. Please follow the steps below:

Look up the required book(s) for each of your courses at the Binghamton University Bookstore web page. Link to Bookstore

If you notice that your instructor has not posted the required course material please contact our office immediately.

Student must purchase or rent required books (SSD will require copy of receipt)

Student notifies SSD of accessible course material needed via Google Form on SSD website. Request for Accessible Course Material
- Please visit the SSD YouTube channel for a step-by-step video on how to request books in accessible format.
** This process may take several weeks. Please submit requests as soon as possible.
