Siobhan Hart is an assistant professor of anthropology. Her research interests include Native American history, indigenous archaeologies, community-based practice, heritage, cultural property and colonialism. She studies how these domains intersect in North America, using collaborative archaeology to support broader equity and social justice efforts. She is co-director of the Pocumtuck Fort Archaeology and Stewardship Project in Deerfield, Mass., which examines Native American experiences of colonialism and cultural change.
