Andy Horowitz, is co-founder and executive director of the dance company, Galumpha. Over a 25-year professional career Andy has performed his choreographic works at more than three thousand venues in thirty countries, including London's Southbank Center, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, The Seoul Arts Center, Berlin's Akademie Der Künste, The Stadsscouwburg of Amsterdam, The Kravis Center, The Shanghai International Arts Festival, Spoleto USA, and countless others. He has been a featured performer on CBS's Late Night with David Letterman, on the A&E Network's Caroline's Comedy Hour, MTV, HBO, Canada's Musique Plus, Germany's ARTE Network, NTV Japan, The BBC and Madrid's Telecinqo. Andy is a co-winner of the Edinburgh Festival's Critics' Choice Award, the Moers International Comedy Arts Prize, and was the 2007 recipient of the Broome County Heart of the Arts award.

Andy has performed in international and national commercials for Brach's Candy, Pepsi Cola, White Stag Clothing, the Hirose Corporation, and others. He has performed in some 20 movies including soon to be released House on Ghost Hill Road and Happy Hour, the latter an official selection of the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, the Saint Louis International Film Festival and the Minneapolis Underground Film Festival. This Season, he is a choreographer for the production of 'Orpheus', the Department of Theatre's 2015 Dance Show.
