Andrea Lenci-Cerchiara is the Costume Designer in the Department of Theatre. Previously part-time faculty in the School of Art and Design History and Theory at Parsons, the New School for Design. Andrea has recently worked as a designer at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY, and Tri-Cities Opera in Binghamton, NY. She received her MA in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian National Design Museum, in cooperation with Parsons, the New School for Design. She teaches the courses Costume Design, Costume Construction, Costume Crafts, Performance and Modern Culture, and History of Decorative Arts and Design at Binghamton University.
