Do I need to audition to become a Theatre major?
No, you declare your major with the Department Chair and Undergraduate Advisor - Barbara Wolfe. Visit Fine Arts 123.
Do I need to be a Theatre major to be in a show?
No, all students registered for credit at Binghamton University are encouraged to audition for MainStage, Studio, InTheWorks and Open Season Shows.
How do I register for a restricted class?
GO TO THE FIRST CLASS. You must get permission from the instructor in order to register, they will provide you with a form to register. You then bring this form to Helen Perrault in the Theatre Main Office (FA - 127) and register in person. During the first few weeks of classes - registration hours are 9:30 - 11 a.m and 1:30 - 3 p.m. Monday — Friday.
I missed the first class, can I still register?
Go to the class you want to register for as soon as possible. Follow the same steps as registering for a restricted class, go to the class, talk to the instructor in person, the instructor will let you know if you can get into the class or not.
