COVID-19 Response Guidelines
Binghamton University's Upward Bound will actively monitor and follow all participating school districts, state, and CDC guidelines for any in-person events and will make adjustments to scheduled events as required.
Virtual alternatives will be available for students to attend who are members of groups at increased health risk.
Service Updates
Application Process
- Interested in joining UB? See our eligibility page and online application.
- Interviews of prospective applications will be conducted online or in-person. All online interviews will be scheduled via Zoom.
Device and Internet Access Assistance Available
- Upward Bound is committed to helping every UB participant find the resources they need to succeed and complete their school work - including access to laptops or tablets.
- If any UB participant doesn't have a device to successfully complete homework or participate in UB virtual services please contact us.
Virtual Tutoring
- We will continue to offer tutoring sessions to UB Scholars.
- Tutors will use Zoom or Google Meet to meet with UB students.
Virtual Activities
- As we transition back to in person events, we are offering both in person and virtual
programs. UB Scholars can participate in weekly activities virtually. See our Instagram for more details!
Virtual Advising
- Along with in person advising, we will continue to offer virtual advising online.
- Academic Counselors will use Zoom or Google Meet to meet with UB students.
