Large Programming Spaces
When planning and reserving space for a major event, the organization or office is required to have a meeting with Orrin Kenyon, Assistant Director of University Union Operations in UU-W205, at least four weeks prior to the event. The event will remain tentative until the meeting has been held. The Large Programming Space Request Form must be filled out to reserve the Mandela Room, Old Union Hall, or if the group needs a special set up for UU 120. The Outdoor Space Request Form must be filled out for events held on the Spine, Peace Quad, or Campus Perimeter. S.A. chartered organizations, University recognized student & Greek groups, faculty,
and staff are permitted to make tabling reservations through the R25 website. Eligible individuals or groups can request an R25 account by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
University recognized groups may host an outside group/vendor with approval from the University Union office. The hosting group is required to pay a $75.00 vendor fee for use of a table in the MarketPlace or Tillman Lobby. The vendor fee can be paid to Carl Darling in UU-W205, payable to Foundation Account 50521.
Any group or organization that requests to show a movie on campus must fill out the Movie Rights Submission Form. Movie rights must be obtained at least 5 business days prior to event.
The only way to cancel an event reservation is by emailing email@example.com and requesting that a specific event be cancelled. Attaching your confirmation to that cancel request is the best way to request a cancellation. Large scale events must be cancelled at least 5 business days in advance.
