Rocketry Workshop

Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean Krishnaswami "Hari" Srihari, right, and mechanical engineering senior Robert Dextre of New York City, help 7-year-old Ibny Xian Crookson, a student at Horace Mann Elementary School, launch a rocket he built at the East Gym field during the Rocketry Workshop hosted by the Watson School. Dextre, who was an intern at NASA, will attend the University of Alabama at Huntsville this fall to pursue a PhD. in aerospace engineering.
