Not a typical program
Our program offers opportunities for students to explore the many facets of engineering, through participation in engineering projects, student organizations, clubs, honor and professional societies, and engineering communities, in an atmosphere that promotes faculty and student interaction, with personalized attention in small classroom and lab settings.
All first-year engineering students in the Watson School begin with a common first-year curriculum of mathematics and the natural sciences. First-year students are also introduced to the various fields of engineering in WTSN 111-112, including biomedical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial and systems engineering.
