PARKING see map: The parking garage gates will be open starting at 4 p.m. Friday. If you arrive earlier, park in the garage or another paid area. Gates will remain open all day Saturday.

Parking Lot T (behind the Alumni Center) will be available for Alumni Center parking Friday and Saturday. Spaces are limited in Lot T.

Free parking is available across campus all weekend starting 4 p.m. Friday in any non-metered spots. Overnight parking must be in a designated 24/7 lot.

The Alumni Center should be your first stop when you arrive on campus. This is an impressive space where history is kept alive and new memories are made. Relax in our fireplace lounge, flip through your class yearbook and see memorabilia from when you were a student. You will also receive a Binghamton University T-shirt to help spread BingPride.

Watson College Career Expo

The Watson Career and Alumni Connections office is hosting its third annual Watson College Career Expo, a networking and recruitment event for engineering and computer science students. This event is an opportunity to connect with Watson engineering and computer science students of all levels (BS, MS, PhD). Free hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be available to encourage an open networking environment. All company representatives will receive a high-top table or a low-round table labeled with their company name (based on the number of representatives attending). A comprehensive website with background information, open roles (e.g., full-time, internships, co-ops) and contact information (if desired) will be provided to students prior to the event.

The event is a partnership between the Fleishman Center and the Q Center, and focuses on navigating the workplace as an LGTBQ+ employee. The event will also include an alumni panel and serve as an opportunity to network and connect with students and alumni.

This event is open to alumni working in broadcasting, print media and related fields, as well as students interested in pursuing careers in media. A panel of accomplished alumni will discuss their career paths and share advice for breaking into a desired field and moving up the ladder. An open networking mixer will follow the panel discussion. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with alumni in your industry.

Come celebrate with the Black Student Union during our annual Homecoming fashion show "The Legacy Continues" as we commemorate 55 years of legacy and unity! Tickets will be $20 for alumni and $15 for students. Be sure to purchase your tickets early because they will go quickly.

Grab a bagel and make a Homecoming-themed button (or two) to wear at the Fall Festival. If it's been a while since you last visited the library, take a self-guided tour to relive your late-night study memories in the stacks. Meet the Libraries' newly appointed Dean, Andrea Falcone from 8:30-9:30.

Special Collections Open House

Take a look back in time and visit the Libraries' Special Collections to view the latest two exhibits on display. One exhibit will showcase holdings on resistance and liberation, and the other will feature student publications from the University Archives. Meet the Libraries' newly appointed Dean, Andrea Falcone from 10-11.

Third Annual Wenzel Memorial 5K
West Gym
This event, in memory of Gregg Wenzel ’91, will consist of a 5K run/walk around campus. The 5K is open to all. Wenzel was a triathlete and former student-athlete at Binghamton who competed on the men’s varsity swimming and diving team. He was killed in a car accident in July 2003 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he was working as a CIA director of operations. Register online for this event. Race check-in and on-site registration will take place at the West Gym. The run/walk will start and end in front of the Gregg Wenzel Memorial statue on Bearcat Boulevard. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in separate age categories. Race-day registration at the West Gym will start at 7:45 a.m. The entry fee is $10 for students and $20 for all others. Entrants must be 13 years or older.

Need a new professional headshot? Join the Fleishman Career Center team for coffee and pastries, and don't forget to use the Iris photo booth, sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement! The photo booth uses state-of-the-art technology and has the ability for you to edit your photo along the way. The Fleishman Career Center staff will be available to help and discuss ways you may want to support students' career development.

School of Management Pickleball Playday
East Gym ***new location, due to expected inclement weather***
Join SOM's dean, faculty, staff and students to learn and participate in the fastest growing sport in America, pickleball. Spectators are also welcome to sit back, relax and cheer on friends and family. We will have healthy and delicious snacks. Because of the large number of participants, we're dividing the session into two groups: beginners at 9 a.m., and doubles tournament players at 10:30 a.m.

Five individuals and one elite team comprise the Binghamton Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023. Set to be enshrined are soccer player Skip Curth '90, longtime athletics director Dave Henderson (1955-81), golfer Jake Katz '11, tennis player Julie Klein '00, softball pitcher Margaret Yerdon '02 and the 2003 men's soccer team.

Campus Ghost Stories and Other Folklore: A Conversation with Libby Tucker

The Lake Lieberman Monster. Sam the Snacker. Charlene the folder of pink laundry. Although not enshrined in the University's history in any formal way, these characters and others have lived on for ages through stories told to countless students in Binghamton's residence halls. Join Libby Tucker, Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of English, General Literature and Rhetoric, as she tells campus ghost stories that will frighten and delight and discusses other aspects of our University's rich folklore.
