Working with Students Experiencing Trauma

Join the Center for learning and Teaching and Tracy Lyman, a lecturer from the College of Community and Public Affairs, to learn about trauma and the brain and how learning and interaction are impacted by trauma. We will also explore trauma-informed approaches in higher education. This interactive session will incorporate opportunities for participants to share what they have experienced with students, reflect upon their current practices and develop an action plan for change.
