The Biochemistry program is a joint effort between the departments of biological sciences and chemistry.
The BS program in Biochemistry is accomplished through 14 core courses including: molecular biology, biophysical chemistry, biochemistry, and biochemistry laboratory. The curriculum emphasizes modern laboratory techniques as well as encouraging students to participate in Biochemical independent laboratory research.
The graduate programs in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology (BCCB) provide leading-edge, multi-disciplinary training in the biochemical and biomedical sciences. Students will be prepared for an array of future possibilities from laboratory research to medical school.
